Domaine Saint Mitre

The vineyards of the Domaine Saint-Mitre in Provence extends over 35 hectares from the estate’s country house dating back to 1817 with its magnificent view of the Saint Baume Massif.

Saint-Mitre’s unique terroir is known for its sunshine, ideal location in Provence, and rich clay and limestone soils.

The estate has been rosé winemakers for generations producing  AOP Coteaux Varois en Provence and IGP local wines Var.Our efforts are focused on making quality rosé, red and white, which is why we are committed to working our soils and perfecting our yields.

We have a broad range of grape varieties from Provence both standard ones (Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Rolle, Ugni Blancbut ) and more unusual varietals (Viognier, Marselan, Merlot and Chardonnay). With a capacity of 3,500 hectoliters, we ferment in stainless steel and concrete thermos-regulated tanks. Perfect temperature control during fermentation results in a rosé of a very light color that is aromatic with unrivaled freshness.

The breadth and depth of our grape varieties enable us to get the most out of our blends and offer highly diverse rosé and white wines recognized for their elegance, freshness, fruit flavors (citrus) and flowers.
